My Approach

Welcome to Prism Path Counseling! My name is Jaimee Beck (she/they), and I am the owner and operator of this private practice and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (#17984).

As a queer, neurodivergent individual, I wanted to create a space where my clients can show up fully, without needing to explain, justify, or shrink any part of who they are. Whether you’re navigating identity, life transitions, relationships, family dynamics, mental health challenges, or simply the everyday weight of existing in a world that isn’t always safe for you, you deserve support that truly understands you.

My conceptualization incorporates an intersectional framework that recognizes how systems of power shape our inner worlds. I work collaboratively with clients to explore how experiences of marginalization – whether related to gender, sexuality, ethnicity, culture, or neurodivergence – impact their lives. Rather than pathologizing difference, I affirm it, creating space for clients to understand themselves outside of dominant norms that often were not built with them in mind.
